Chiropractic Patients Your initial office visit will involve a thorough history and examination of your musculoskeletal complaint. The exam will include affected areas and systems to the extent necessary to diagnose your condition. If x-rays are required, you will be referred to a nearby facility where those can be taken.
After your initial visit and a review of the results, Dr. Anschutz will prepare a report of her findings that will explain your problems and suggest a plan of care. That plan may include adjustments, nutritional supplements aimed at decreasing inflammation and healing tissue, cold laser treatments to speed healing, exercises, acupuncture and possibly mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Functional/Integrative Medicine Patients
When you call to make your initial appointment, we will take your information and forward you a questionnaire designed to explore your medical history, signs and symptoms. You also will receive a records release to sign, so your records may be forwarded to our office. Once we receive this questionnaire and your records, we will call you and schedule your initial appointment.
At your first appointment, Dr. Anschutz will have reviewed your information and prepared a preliminary report. The report will explain any further testing that may be required to find the origin of your problem. After additional testing has been performed and the doctor has received your results, she will prepare a final report, detailing a treatment plan that will be presented to you at the second visit.
For information about what treatment plans may include, please see the section on Functional/Integrative medicine.
Biomedical Intervention for Autism Patients
